What to Do After a Car Accident in Calgary
A simple, step-by-step guide to staying safe, following Calgary laws, and handling your vehicle after a collision.
1. Check for Injuries First
Your safety comes first. Make sure you and your passengers are okay. If anyone is hurt or seems injured, call 911 immediately.
2. Move to a Safe Location
If the vehicles can be driven, move them to the side of the road, a parking lot, or anywhere away from traffic. Keep your hazard lights on to alert other drivers.
3. Call Police if Required
